Teresa Noreen O'Neill
September 18, 1947 - September 12, 2007
Retired LPN form Mass Hospital School Teresa Noreen (Kelly) O’Neill, age 59, of Mansfield, died at her home surrounded by the comfort of her loving family on Wednesday, September 12. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Gallagher) Kelly.
Terry grew up in Foxboro, where she attended Foxboro High School. After graduating in 1965, she studied nursing at St. Joseph’s in Nashua, NH and pursued a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Mass Hospital School. She was married to James O’Neill of Canton in 1972 and moved to Third Cliff in Scituate. She remained in Scituate for nearly thirty years as a dedicated wife, mother and friend before moving to Mansfield. Despite battling cancer, she continued to stay positive and relied heavily on her faith and family.
Terry is survived by her devoted husband Jim, their daughters Rayanne Woods and her husband Timothy of Norton and Kelly DeMello and her husband Christopher of Buzzard’s Bay. She was the beloved sister of John Kelly and his wife Beth of MD, Paul Kelly of FL and Charles and his wife Jean, also of FL. She was the proud Nana to Mary, Emily, Nathan, Laura and Jaydyn. She is also survived by countless loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Information
Family and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Monday, September 17 from 4 to 8 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 18 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Mansfield. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
