Margaret Ann Lynch

June 12, 1928 - February 26, 2010

Devoted Wife Mother and Grandmother

Foxborough-Margaret Ann Lynch, age 81, died peacefully on February 26, 2010 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lucy (Morton) Milan.

Margaret was born in Waltham on June 12, 1928 and was a graduate of Dorchester High for Girls, Class of 1946. She and her husband William were married on January 1, 1956 at St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough. She has been a resident of Foxborough for the past 64 years.

Margaret worked as a secretary for the former Foxborough State Hospital for over 10 years and later worked as a bookkeeper for the former Fernandes Super Market in Foxborough. She was a former board member of the Dominican Academy in Plainville.

Margaret was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough. She was a New England Patriot’s fan and enjoyed spending winters with her husband in Key Biscayne, Florida. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Beloved wife of William P. Lynch. Loving Mother of Valerie A. and her husband Thomas Kirrane of Foxborough. Devoted grandmother of Erin M., Thomas W. and Patrick L. Kirrane, all of Foxborough. Sister of John Milan of Amherst, NH and the late Mary Elizabeth Milan, Dr. Frederick Milan and Richard Milan.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 1, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 53 Carpenter St. in Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
