Anna (Ulak) Haggerty
May 12, 1915 - April 21, 2010
Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister Foxborough-Anna (Ulak) Haggerty, age 94, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Magdelana (Zolnowski) Ulak.
Anna was born in Taunton on May 12, 1915 and was a graduate of Taunton High School. She was a resident of Taunton for many yeas. Anna lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Jack Farmer in Foxborough for the past 35 years.
She was a shipping clerk for Carcross Calender Company in Taunton for over 20 years. She retired in 1974. She was a daily communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough. Anna enjoyed knitting and then latter in life enjoyed crocheting. She was an avid New England Patriots and Red Sox Fan and enjoyed gardening. She was also at one time active in the Each One Teach One program in Foxborough.
Wife of the late Herbert A. Haggerty. Beloved mother of Stephen J. of Taunton, Walter T. of Littleton, CO, Christine A. Farmer of Foxborough and the late James A. Haggerty.
Sister of Theresa Malek of Natick. Also survived by ten Grand and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 4-7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St. in Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
