Elizabeth Belletti
October 13, 1923 - March 29, 2008
Devoted Mother and Grandmother Elizabeth (Lewandowski) Belletti, age 84, formerly of Foxboro, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Maples Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home in Wrentham, MA. She had lived in Walpole for many years before moving to Foxboro.
She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Belletti. Born in Nanticoke, PA, she graduated from Hartford Public High school and Boston City Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked in various nursing homes and at NorCap. She participated in many Elderhostels, traveling throughout the US and Europe. Throughout her life, Elizabeth was active in numerous community organizations. In recent years, she knitted sweaters for Oxfam and volunteered for Hospice, the Foxboro Food Pantry and the Foxboro Senior Center.
She was a caring, loving mother and generous friend. She is survived by her children Carol (Belletti) and Richard Turcotte of Newport, RI; John Belletti of Santa Monica, CA; Paul and Elaine Belletti of Walpole, MA; and Peter and June Belletti of Tempe, AZ and seven grandchildren, Laura Guiney, Nathan Turcotte, Ellen Lepine, Melyssa Taylor, Christopher Belletti, Deanna Belletti, Alyse Belletti and four great grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, April 3 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 4 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Burial will be private. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
