William Prescott Yoders

Owner of BYCO Industrial Burner Service

William "Bill" Prescott Yoders, age 78 died Saturday, October 6 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. Bill was the son of the late Nellie (Prescott) and the step son of Wilbur Henry.

Bill was born on March 17, 1929 in New London, CT where he attended Chapman Technical High School. Bill proudly served his country in the US Army during Korea. He was a self employed commercial heating contractor and was the owner/operator of BYCO Industrial Burner Service. He married his beloved wife Bernadette on July 5, 1958.

Bill was a member of the Oak Point Veterans Association and was the past President of the Combustion Engineering Association of New England. He was an avid boater, enjoyed pool and playing poker.

Beloved husband of Bernadette (Downey) Yoders. Loving father of Marinell and her husband Dana Rousmaniere of Hyde Park. Devoted grandfather of William Prescott Rousmaniere.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 14, from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 15 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
