Foxborough-Shirlie Ann (Cook) LaPointe, age 77, died on October 8, 2008 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Shirlie T. (Pettee) Cook.

Shirlie was born in Norwood on August 10, 1931 and was educated in Foxborough public schools. She and her husband George were married in Whitman on January 19, 1977.

Beloved sister of Marlene E. Cook of Tavares, Florida and the late George Cook Jr. Sister in-law of Judith Cook of Winchester, Virginia. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and friends.
