John William Leary

December 18, 1943 - May 16, 2008

Foxborough - John William Leary, age 64, died at his home in Foxborough, on Friday, May 16, 2008 surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Leo F. and Hazel M. (Lovely) Leary.

John was born on December 18, 1943 in Norwood. He was a graduate of Maine East High School in Park Ridge, IL and Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He and his wife Arlene were married on October 2, 1971 at St. Timothy's Church in Norwood.

John was an insurance broker and was the owner and President of J. W. Leary Insurance Agency in Foxboro for the past 26 years. He was a devoted and loving husband and father.

Beloved husband of Arlene Louise (Montanari) Leary. Loving father of Shannon E. and her husband Daniel Leigh of London, UK. Brother of Mary L. and her husband George Stege of Clarence, NY.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxborough.
