Edward F. Nordblom

January 14, 1929 - November 24, 2005

Retired Alarm Installer from A.D.T.

Edward F. Nordbllom, age 76, died at the New England Sinai Hospital on November 24, after a long illness. He was the son of the late Walfred and Ida (Holmberg) Nordblom.

Born in Boston, January 14, 1929. Edward was a native of W. Roxbury. He graduated from Roslindale High School, Class of 1946. Edward was served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Edward married his wife, Barbara (Reid) on August 14, 1960 at the Roslindale Congregational Church. He worked for 35 years as a bank alarm installer for American District Telegraph Company of Boston. He retired in 1985.

Edward was a long time member of the Sharon American Legion and was an avid deep sea fisherman.

Besides his wife Barbara, Edward is survived by his daughter, Kristen E. Al Khamis and her husband Adnan of Dubai, United Arab Emeritas and his son, Eric R. Nordblom of Manhattan, NY. He was the loving grandfather of Tarik and Danah of Dubai and step father of Charlene A. Champagne and her husband Mark Champagne, Sr. of Foxboro. Step grandfather of Amanda, Mark, Jr, Christopher and Nicholas all of Foxboro.
