Lillian Moore

July 18, 1918 - April 05, 2006

Lillian (Gunrud) Moore, age 87, died April 5, at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Sally (Anderson) Gunrud.

Lillian was born in Foxboro on July 18, 1918 and was a graduate of Foxboro High School, Class of 1935.

She married her husband William in Michigan during WWII and has been an Attleboro resident for the past 43 years.

She enjoyed swimming, tennis and golf and was a former member of the Attleboro YMCA. She was a volunteer driver for the former Pondville Hospital of Norfolk where she would transfer chemotherapy patients for their treatments. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Loving mother of Robert G. and his wife Sandra Moore and William G. Moore, Jr. Devoted grandmother of Jeffrey, Gregory and Samantha Moore. Sister of Ruth Meade of Attleboro, Dorothy Huston of Lynn, George Gunrud of Natick, Vaughn Gunrud of CA, and the late Evelyn Homberg, Nancy Leiper, June Gunrud, Carla Bartlette and Ronald Gunrud.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to calling hours, Saturday, April 8 from 10 to 11 am at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro. .
