James Leslie Bailey, age 53, of Plainville, died after a long illness on Thursday July 20, 2006 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts. James was the son of the late Leslie and Janet (Lewis) Bailey.

James was born in Washington, DC on November 6, 1952 and was a long time resident of Colorado Springs. He was a graduate of Mitchell High School and earned a degree in broadcasting from El Paso Community College.

James was a Front desk Manager for the Comfort Inn in Foxboro, Massachusetts. He has lived in Massachusetts for the past eight years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, hiking, sailing and aviation.

He is survived by one son, Andrew L. Gray of Colorado Springs.

Funeral Information

A memorial service was held on Sunday July 23, at the Comfort Inn in Foxboro.
