Arthur W. Brunelle

Arthur W. Brunelle Sr., age 74, of Mansfield, formerly of Foxboro, died on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Blue Hills Alzheimer’s Care Center in Stoughton. He was the son of the late Leo and Ruth Brunelle.

Arthur was born in Boston on January 3, 1933 and was a graduate of Brighton High School. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Arthur was a Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Boston for over 31 years. He retired in 1992. He was an avid salt-water fisherman and enjoyed gardening and music, especially the Big Bands. Arthur also enjoyed touring New England during the fall foliage season, cooking and old movies.

Former husband of the late Lillian V. (Franchi) Brunelle. Loving father of Julie Tunison of Norton, Arthur Brunelle Jr. of Franklin, David Brunelle of Foxboro, Andrew Brunelle of Las Vegas, NV and Karen Brunelle-Koren of Foxboro. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many neices, nephews and cousins. Brother of the late June, Albert and Harry Brunelle.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 27, from 10-12 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A funeral service will be held after calling hours at 12:30 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 63 Rockwood Rd., Norfolk. Collation to follow in the church hall. Interment service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 29, at Evergreen Cemetery in Brighton.
