Joseph "Normand" McGraw

Retried Clerk for the South Postal Annex in Boston Joseph “Normand” McGraw”, age 75, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday November 5, in Foxboro. He was the son of the late Joseph and Germaine (Bernatchez) McGraw.
Normand was born in Nashua New Hampshire on March 21, 1931.
He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. After the war he worked for Carlings Brewery in Natick. After Carlings he went to work for GAF of Millis. He retied from the South Postal Annex in Boston after 10 years of service.
Normand married his wife Nancy (Asmus) in Foxboro on June 19, 1982. He and Nancy were camping enthusiast and loved to spend time at Salisbury Beach and Lake Ivanhoe in New Hampshire. Normand loved the outdoors and was an avid fresh water bass fisherman. He also was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriot’s Fan. He was proud of bringing his former little league team from Dorchester to the state Championship. He was also a member of the V.F.W. in Medway.
Beloved husband of Nancy (Asmus) McGraw. Loving father of Michele Lindsey of AL, Norman “Skip” McGraw of Roslindale and the late Paul McGraw. Step father of Karen Tradd of Foxboro, Robert McGonagle of Foxboro and John McGonagle of Wrentham. Devoted grandfather of Alex, Ryan, Kelly, Amanda, Matthew and Paul. Brother of the late Robert McGraw.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday November 8 from 3-7 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 9, at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro.
