Russell L. Keane, age 76, of Foxboro, formerly of Dedham, died on January 30, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Norwood. He was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Connery) Keane. Russell was born in Dedham on April 17, 1931 and was a graduate of Dedham High School. Russell proudly served his country in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War. He and his wife Grace (Christopher) were married on April 17, 1966 at St. Mary’s Church in Dedham. Russell worked for the Foxboro Company Security for over 25 years, retiring in 1985. He was an avid fisherman all of his life and loved being on the water with his friends. An avid woodworker, he enjoyed making and designing his own fishing lures. He was a member of several clubs including the Standish Sportsmen Club. In addition to his wife Grace he is survived by one son, Christopher Keane and his wife Ruth of Lebanon, NH and two granddaughters, Emily and Lexie. He was the brother of the late Warren Keane and Pauline Burke. Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 4, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. Foxboro. Relatives and friends will gather on Saturday, February 9, at 10:45 AM at the funeral home to form a procession to Rock Hill Cemetery for interment service..
