Lifelong Foxboro Resident Clarissa L. (Jones) Morse, age 94, died on July 5, 2006 at the Epoch of Norton. She was wife of the late Norman Morse and William Lessard.
Clarissa was born in Foxboro on November 21, 1911 and is the daughter of the late Henry H. and Mary E. (English) Jones. She was educated in Foxboro Public Schools.
Clarissa was an assembler at the Foxboro Company for over 40 years and retired in 1974. She was a member of the Foxboro Company’s 10, 25, and 40 year clubs and was a member of the Bonnie Seniors in Manomet. She was an avid Gardener an enjoyed cooking. She cherished family gatherings during the holidays. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Loving mother of Bruce and his wife Lois Lessard of North Truro, Calvin and his wife Sharon Lessard of East Falmouth, Glenna and her husband Ron Smith of North Dighton, Frederick and his wife Diane Morse of Attleboro, Beverly Woodward of Attleboro and Scott Morse of Mansfield. Sister of the late Albert Jones. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday July 11, 2006 from 4to8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A funeral service will be held at the Barton chapel of the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rock Hill St. Foxboro on Wednesday July 12 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton
