Martha B. Juergens

December 23, 1928 - June 01, 2007

Founding Member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer

Martha B. (Oehlschlagel) Juergens age 78 died on Friday June 1 2007 at the Goddard Center in Stoughton. She was born in Boston on December 23, 1928 the daughter of Robert and Hedwig (Zwecker) Vietze.

Martha attended Boston Public Schools when she lived in Roslindale and came to Foxboro fifty years ago. She was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Foxboro where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was active in the Foxboro Senior Center, and enjoyed reading, knitting and her flowers.

Martha was the wife of the late Edward E. Juergens who died on March 20, 1991. She is survived by her children Edward “Buddy” and his wife Wendy Juergens of Foxboro, Karen Juergens of Foxboro and her companion John Newman, Lorralyn Juergens of Londonderry, NH and her companion Kevin McDonough and the late David P. Juergens and Barbara E. Juergens. Sister of Bertha Maloof of Foxboro and Roberta Roberge of Nashua, NH, William Oehlschlagel of Sandwich and the late Adolf Oehlschlagel. Grandmother of Jeffrey, Michael, Matthew, Paul and Nicholas.

Funeral Information

Calling hours Tues. June 5 from 4 to 8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. Funeral Service on Wed. at 11 AM with the Rev. Richard A. Schlak will be at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer 212 Main Street in Foxboro.
