North Attleboro-Jonathan Keyes Blaisdell, age 45, died on Monday, January 11, 2010 after a hard fought battle with cancer. At the time of his death Jon was surrounded by the comfort of his loving family and friends.
Jon was born on November 5, 1964 in Boston and was a long time resident of Foxborough. He was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1982 and a graduate of New England Technical Institute in Rhode Island. He and his wife Kelly were married on May 26, 1991 at St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough.
Jon worked for over 15 years as a heavy equipment operator for Walsh Contracting Corporation of Attleboro and was a member of the I.U.O.E. Local 4 in Boston. Jon was a former little league and soccer coach in North Attleboro and danced in all of his daughters recitals. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed skiing, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.
Beloved husband of Kelly A. (Donovan) Blaisdell. Loving father of Meghan, Ryan and Allyson of North Attleboro. Loving son of Roderick Blaisdell Sr. of FL and Janet Blaisdell of Littleton, NH. Brother of Roderick Blaisdell Jr. and his wife Patty of Plainville and Johanna Ghossein and her husband Anthony of Foxborough. Son in law of Joan and Richard Donovan of Foxborough. Brother in law of Kristin and Brad Cady of Foxborough and Richard and Darleen Donovan of South Foxborough. Devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxborough.
