Ralph William Johnson, age 77, died on Tuesday October 31, 2006 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by the comfort of his loving Family. He was the son of the late John and Florence (Haggblom) Johnson. Ralph was born in Dedham on November 15, 1928. He at one time lived in Foxboro and was a Foxboro High School graduate. He was a longtime resident of Mansfield and formerly lived in Brockton. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. After the war Ralph went to work for the Foxboro Company as a machine operator. In 1955 he went to work for the Corcoran Supply Company of Brockton for 25 years. He retired in 1980. Ralph was an avid salt and freshwater fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his family. He also enjoyed playing bingo in the Attleboro and Brockton area. Ralph had an excellent sense of humor and loved to watch the New England Patriots, Stock Car Racing and Professional Wrestling. Husband of the late Barbara (Cress) and former husband of Ethel Taylor of Foxboro. Beloved father of Marcia Fitzgerald-Stejskal of Mansfield, the late Ricky Johnson, Marilyn Norris of Brockton, Nancy Cugini, Sandra Ellis and Arthur Taylor all of Taunton, Richard Johnson of ME, Karen Johnson of Brockton, Gail Johnson of FL and Robert Johnson of MD.
