Devoted Wife, Loving Mother, Friend and Life Enthusiast Mansfield - After a long and courageous battle, Robyn E. Feeley, age 54, died on Wednesday, October 7th, 2009 at her home in Mansfield, surrounded by the comfort of her family. A devoted wife, loving mother, friend and life enthusiast, Robyn has left an indelible mark on the lives of all she's touched.
Robyn was born in Newbern, North Carolina on February 13th, 1955, the only daughter of the late Robert and Harriet (Webber) Eastwood. She was a graduate of North Kingston High School (RI), class of 1973, and went on to earn her BA at URI where she was an active member of the Delta Zeta Sorority.
Always the consummate professional, Robyn excelled with GlaxoSmithKline where she was employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative for the past 11 years. In her pursuit of all things interesting, Robyn freelanced as a licensed real estate sales person and for a number of years she coordinated the after school program at the Robinson School in Mansfield. Late in life Robyn shifted her attention to raising awareness for the illness with which she was afflicted and became an active volunteer with Ovations For The Cure, for the fight against ovarian cancer.
Robyn was known to her friends and family as a passionate cook and pastry chef while maintaining a discerning eye for home décor. She was a sucker for a good sunset on the beach and adored spending time at her family summer home in Humarock.
