Kevin Philip Haddon Cave, age 70, died at his home on Sunday, May 18, 2008 surrounded by the comfort of his loving family and friends. He was the son of the late Henry P.H. and Angela M. (Kelleher) Cave. Kevin was born in London, England on November 21, 1937. He grew up in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stonehill College in Easton. He and his wife Martha were married on April 16, 1966 at St. Joseph’s Church in Wakefield. Kevin was a former Assistant Stadium Manager for the Schaefer Stadium in Foxborough. He and his brother owned and operated the Imperial Fence Company in Stoughton for many years. In recent years he was a self-employed carpenter in the Foxborough area. Kevin was a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan at St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro. He was a former Grand Knight and 4th degree member of the Foxboro Knights of Columbus Council 6063. Kevin enjoyed visiting his relatives in England and traveling with his wife to Maine, North Carolina and Florida. He was a lighthouse enthusiast who made several model lighthouses. He was also an avid woodworker and would make toys and birdhouses for his grandchildren, friends and for charity. Kevin was an avid New England Patriot and Red Sox fan. Beloved husband of Martha D. (Doyle) Cave. Loving father of Denise and her husband Daniel Sulzbach of Bel Air, MD, Stephen Cave and his wife Erin of Arlington and Paula and her husband Kevin Martin of Wrentham. Devoted grandfather of Morgan and Nicholas Sulzbach, Annie, Charlie and Lily Cave and Ben, Emma and Cara Martin. Brother of Nicola and her husband William Sherwood of Phippsburg, ME and the late Philip Cave. Brother inlaw of Beverly Cave of Stoughton. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, May 21, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. Foxborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter St., Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
