Barbara Alice (Brown) Koslow, age 86, died Saturday, October 7 at the Daggett Crandall Nursing Home in Norton. She was the daughter of the late John T. and Mildred (Degenhardt) Brown.

Barbara was born in Lowell, MA on January 31, 1921 and was a graduate of Billerica High School. Barbara married her late husband George Alexander Koslow in Billerica on Easter Sunday in 1949.

She worked as an administrative assistant for many years for AT&T in Boston and Foxboro, until her retirement in 1985. Barbara was a member of the Foxboro Open Gate Garden Club, Foxboro Women’s Club, OES Easter Chapter of Foxboro and was a former active member of St. Marks’ Episcopal Church Altar Guild.

Beloved mother of Susan K. Hallett of NC, Karen Keck of ID, Ruth Hall of ME and the late Stephen and Mark Koslow. Loving sister of Shirley Bennett of Greenfield and Thomas Brown of Lowell. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a calling hour on Thursday, October 11 from 10 to 11 am at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home immediately following the calling hour, at 11 am. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro.
