Marjorie Louise Parker

April 22, 1930 - January 28, 2007

Marjorie L. Parker, age 76, died on Sunday January 28, at Caritas Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Madelene (White) Parker.

Marjorie was born in Sharon on April 22, 1930 and was a graduate of Sharon High School, Class of 1948. She worked for over 33 years as an underwriter for Hartford Insurance Company of Boston. She retired in 1988.

Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her friends and her many nieces and nephews. She was a world traveler and enjoyed crafts such as knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed taking care of her home and interior decorating.

Marjorie was a native of Sharon and has been a resident of South Attleboro for the past 15 years.

Loving sister-in-law of Gerry Parker of Foxboro and sister of the late Milton “Pete” Parker and Bertha Mucinskas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 31, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon.
