Beloved Mother and Grandmother

Wrentham-M. Beverly (Dixon) Donaldson, age 91, died on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Pond Home with her son Don by her side. She was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Schomann) Dixon.

Beverly was born in Baltimore on July 10, 1917 and was educated in Baltimore Public Schools. She has been a resident of Massachusetts for the past 10 years and has been a resident of the Pond Home in Wrentham for the past two years.

Beverly enjoyed bowling and golf. In a family of avid golfers, she was the first in her family to make a hole in one and proudly displayed her trophy in her home. Her passion was gardening. She could be found in the spring and summer carefully planting and maintaining the flowerbeds on her property. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and has always been an avid sports fan.

Wife of the late Frank F. Donaldson, Sr. Beloved mother of George and his wife Ann of Banning, CA, Peter and his wife Susanne of Madison, OH, and Frank “Don” Donaldson, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Foxboro. Loving grandmother of Linda Guidi, Lee Unruh, Traci Melvin and Rick Donaldson. Also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 10 AM at the Druid Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore. The Reverend Janice Gordon–Barnes from the Church of the Holy Comforter in Lutherville will preside.
