Marion E. Tripp Miss

March 20, 1925 - December 21, 2006

Life Long Foxboro Resident

Marion Elizabeth Tripp, age 81, died on Thursday December 21, at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing center in Wrentham. She was the daughter of the late Dutee and Bessie Anne (Leighton) Tripp.

Marion was born on March 20, 1925 in Foxboro and was a graduate of Foxboro High School class of 1943. She retired in 1987 after 40 years service for the Foxboro Company as a clerk in the purchasing department. She was a member of the Foxboro Company 25 and 40 year club and the Union Church of South Foxboro.

At one time Marion was a member of the First Baptist Church of Foxboro where she was Pioneer Girls Guide and a Sunday school teacher. She loved to sing and play piano and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Beloved cousin of Gayle McMullen of Raymond, NH, Ernest F. MacBurnie of Foxboro, Philip Leighton of Moline, Ohio and Many Tripp Cousins.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 27, from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxboro. A funeral service will follow at 12 PM at the Union Church of South Foxboro, 384 South Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, in Foxboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Foxboro Alzheimer’s Support Group, 75 Central St. Foxboro, MA 02035.
