Anne B. Travers

May 19, 1930 - October 28, 2008

Foxborough-Anne Baxter (Havey) Travers, age 79, of Foxborough, formerly of Mansfield and North Attleboro, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the Southeaston Rehabilitation and Skilled Care. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hazel (Kirk) Havey.

Anne was born on May 19, 1930 in Attleboro. She was a graduate of North Attleboro High School Class of 1948. She was a former self-employed hairdresser in Mansfield.

Anne worked for over 20 years as a Bookkeeper for the Department of Mental Health, Region 5, in Taunton until retiring in 1990. She enjoyed spending time with her family and preparing Sunday dinners. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, Crossword puzzles and trips to Foxwood’s with her family.

Wife of the late John Travers. Beloved mother of John A. Antosca of FL, Thomas F. Antosca of Centerville and Michael G. Antosca and his wife Deborah of Foxborough. Loving grandmother of Scot, Joe, Paul, Charles, Tommy, Danielle and Chelsea. Devoted sister of Elizabeth Fuery of Plainville. Aunt of Beth and George Bergman of Attleboro, Sue Kettel of Plainville and Joan and John Piccini of North Attleboro. Also survived by three great grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, November 3, from 4-7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., in Foxborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. in Mansfield. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
