Beloved Mother

Foxborough-Hildegard Bertha Zacheus, age 93, passed peacefully on July 11, 2010 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward Nelson Zacheus.

Hildegard was born in Boston on September 4, 1916 and was the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Anderson) Lenander. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and was a former member of Waverly Congregational Church in Belmont. She has been a Foxborough resident for the past 22 years and was formerly of Belmont.

Hildegard was a former secretary for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. She attended the Bethany Congregational Church in Foxborough and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Belmont. She enjoyed spending summers at her homes on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH and in Searsport, ME and winters in North Readington Beach, FL.

Beloved mother of Linda Dresser of Concord, NH and Marcia Christie of Foxborough. Sister of the late Vera MacGregror, Dagmar Rose and Grace Lenander. She is survived by five loving grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
