Charles F. Maguire

September 25, 1952 - January 12, 2006

Former United States Track and Field Standout

Charles F. Maguire, age 53, of Foxboro died unexpectedly at home. He was the son of Catherine M. (Belcher) Maguire and the late Edward T. Maguire.

Born on August 25, 1952 in Attleboro, Charles was a 1970 graduate of Foxboro High School and earned a BA and an MBA in Business Administration at Penn State. Charles was an Eagle Scout and was a NCAA Running Champion and was a member of the US Track and Field team participating in international competition. Charles was a teacher and private tutor and worked as a part time bartender at the VFW in Mansfield. He was also a former resident of StateCollege, PA and was a former professor and guidance counselor at Penn State.

Beloved son of Catherine M. (Belcher) Maguire of Foxboro. Loving brother of Thomas Maguire and his wife Linda of Roanoke, VA and Edward Maguire of Hyannis. Cherished uncle of Thomas and Elizabeth Maguire, both of Roanoke. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
