Frank E. Iavarone

March 09, 1951 - August 15, 2010

Beloved Father, Son and Grandfather

Reading, PA-Frank E Iavarone. age 59, died at his home in Reading, PA on August 15, 2010.

Frank was born in Manhattan, NY on March 9, 1951 and was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1969. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He often said that he experienced more life in Vietnam than men 100 years old.

He loved Florida and the years he lived there. He could never say enough about the weather, the entertainment and the Cuban cuisine. But Florida could never replace his first love, Boston, MA. He knew every street, nook and cranny and had a story about them all. Every local shop, ethnic restaurant and secret treasure the city had to offer, Frank knew in and out. One of his favorite places to visit was The Arnold Arboretum.

Despite his love for Florida and Boston his love for family prompted him to move to Reading, PA almost 6 years ago. With his 2 children and third grandchild on the way he relocated again to be close to them. His pride, in the legacy he had in his grandchildren, was evident to all. He will forever be remembered by his grandchildren as "Papa Doughnuts" for his Saturday morning visits carrying a fresh dozen. He will be terribly missed by the loved ones he left behind.

Beloved son of Frank and Dorothy (Bolton) Iavarone of Foxborough. Loving father of Celene Kelchner and Frank Iavarone and his wife Salina, of Reading, PA. Devoted grandfather of Emily Kelchner and Alexander and Cassandra Iavarone. Brother of Jerry Iavarone and his wife Lynne of Florida, Maria and her husband Jack Quinn of Foxborough and the late Gloria Hagopian.
