Betty Ann Duffy

Foxborough-Betty Ann Duffy, age 73 died on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lemuel J. and Alice (Burlingame) Bassett.

Betty was born in Rochester, New York on April 3, 1935 and was educated in Rochester Public Schools. She and her husband Edward were married in Rochester, New York on June 9, 1982. She has been a resident of Normandy Farms Camp Ground in Foxborough for the past 23 years.

Betty at one time worked for the Crossroads, The Children’s Center in Foxboro. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at Normandy Farms. She was an avid sports fan and particularly enjoyed the Buffalo Bills and Sabers and the New England Patriots.

Beloved wife of Edward Patrick Duffy. Loving mother of James and Christopher Duffy and Nancy McTighe. Also survived by several grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a calling hour from 12 to 1 PM on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough.
