Elaine A. McElmon

January 19, 1947 - December 26, 2008

Elaine A. McElmon, age 61, of Foxboro, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Gustave and Anne (Connolly) Maki.

Elaine was born in Quincy on January 19, 1947. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1964 and a graduate of Stonehill College, Class of 1968. Elaine married her husband Paul on September 7, 1973 at St. Mary’s in Quincy. Elaine was employed as a service representative for Verizon in Boston for twenty-four and a half years, recently retiring in June.

Elaine enjoyed traveling with family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend and would light up a room upon entering. She enjoyed spending time with friends and was very outgoing.

Beloved wife of Paul D. McElmon of Foxboro. Loving mother of Julie A. McElmon of Bridgewater and Craig M. McElmon of Foxboro.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 2 from 4 to 8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro.
