Dorothy N. Law

Devoted Mother and Grandmother Foxborough-Dorothy Natalie (Svenson) Law, age 89, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Harrington House in Walpole. She was the wife of the late George A. Law and daughter of the late Carl E. and Nathalie (Hokanson) Svenson.
Dorothy was born in Everett on February 6, 1919. She was a life long resident of South Foxborough and was a 1936 graduate of Foxborough High School. She and her late husband George where married in the Union Church of South Foxborough on September 21, 1940.
Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Bird Machine in Walpole and for the Foxborough National Bank. She was a member of the Union Church of South Foxborough where through the years she served as treasurer, trustee and Sunday school superintendent. She was also a member of the South Foxborough Community Club and a charter member of the Foxborough Country Club.
Beloved mother of George A. Law, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Foxborough and David A. Law and his wife Cheryl also of Foxborough. Devoted grandmother of Julie Law-Linck and her husband Peter and Janie, Jennifer, Arthur and Samuel Law all of Foxborough. Great grandmother of Mabel and Elliott Linck of Foxborough. Loving sister of Anne Schulz of ME and FL and the late Carl Swanson.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a graveside service on Sat. Aug. 23, at 10:15 AM at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM at the Union Church of South Foxboro located at 384 South St. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough.
