Francis Edward Kersey, age 79, died on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his home in Mansfield surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Frederick and Julia (O’Donnell) Kersey.
Francis was born on March 6, 1928 in Chelsea and attended Boston Public Schools. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during WWII and Korea. He married his wife Elizabeth J. (Wessels) on May 27, 1957.
Francis was a retired courier for Deadline Delivery of Braintree. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth J. Kersey. Loving father of Kevin Kersey of SC, Katherine Reynolds of Mansfield, Michael Kersey of Melrose, Beverly Chisom, Glenn Kersey, William Kersey and Francis Kersey Jr. all of FL. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
