Doris M. Steeves

August 28, 1939 - January 06, 2008

Doris M. (Lund) Steeves, age 68, died on January 6, 2008, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (Ribbe) Lund.

Doris was born in Attleboro on August 28, 1939 and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. She has been a Foxboro resident for over 50 years. She married her late husband Paul on July 3, 1959.

Doris was a former treasurer for the Foxboro V.F.W. Woman’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid New England Patriots fan. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Paul W. Steeves, loving mother of Paul W. Jr. and his wife Susan and Leah M. Berndt and her husband Daniel all of Foxboro. Devoted grandmother of Cassandra Goold, Ryan, Megan and Jack Steeves. Sister of Maureen Pendleton of Attleboro.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 10, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
