Marjorie J. Poirier

June 22, 1923 - August 10, 2006

Marjorie J. (Roche) Poirier, age 83, died at the Charwell House in Norwood after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Maker) Roche.

Marjorie was born in Canton on June 22, 1923 and has been a Foxboro resident for the past 55 years. She married her husband Eugene in November of 1945 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon. She enjoyed the Theater and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene F. Poirier. Loving mother of Eugene F. Jr. and Thomas H. Poirier and his wife Janet of Foxboro, Richard Poirier of Brockton and the late Jeanette Poirier. Devoted grandmother of Amanda Poirier of Attleboro and Melissa Poirier of Foxboro. Sister of Roger Roche of Canton.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday August 14, from 5-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home.
