Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Judith Ellen (Platukis) Jamieson, age 66, died on Tuesday June 13, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Eulalia A. (McDavitt) Platukis.

Judith was born on June 3, 1940 in Norwood. She was a native of Walpole and Graduate of Walpole High School Class of 1958. She and her husband Philip were married on February 14, 1959 in Hampton, New Hampshire.

During the late 1970’s she worked as a Baker for the Foxboro Public School System. She was an avid reader and loved Crossword Puzzles. She loved attending flea markets and collecting beanie babies. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and loved spending time with her family along with her dog Heidi.

Beloved wife of Philip C. Jamieson Sr. Loving mother of Philip C. Jr. and Andrew F. and his wife Cynthia of Foxboro, Thomas S. and his wife Marie of South Attleboro, Gail L. Keefe and her husband Thomas of Plympton and the late Peter J. Jamieson. Sister of Anthony J. Platukis of Walpole. Devoted grandmother of eleven granddaughters and one grandson.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday June 18, from 4-8:00 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 19, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Foxboro.
