“Winnie” Amy (Rich) Comey, age 64, of Norton died Friday, November 3 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of Helen Mantello and the late Albert Rich. Winnie was born on June 6, 1942 in Brockton. She attended Foxboro Public Schools. Winnie was a quality control clerk at Valentine Tool and Stamping in Norton for twenty three years. She was a Norton Cub Scout Leader of Pack 27. A talented craft painter and artist, she also enjoyed walking on the beach, fishing, camping and geocaching. Winnie possessed a passion for life and always had a smile. She touched the hearts of those she came in contact with and will be greatly missed by many. Beloved mother of James A. Comey, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC and William H. Comey of Cranston, RI. Loving long time companion of Mr. Jean Bonneau of North Attleboro. Devoted grandmother of Joshua Comey and great grandmother of Ayden Comey. She was the sister of Gail Rich, Bert Rich, Paul Rich, John Rich, Debbie Dube, Ann Rich, Theresa Cushman, Betty Tuttle and Joanne Rich. Funeral InformationFriends and relatives are cordially invited to calling hours at 10 am on Wednesday, November 8 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro, followed by a funeral service at noon.
