William F. McKay

William Francis McKay died February 1, 2006 at the Serenity Hill Nursing Home in Wrentham. He was the son of the late Joseph Albert and Elsie (Foster) McKay. He was 73 years old.

Born on March 2, 1929 in Foxboro, where he lived most of his life. He was educated in Foxboro Public Schools. He proudly served with the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Mr. McKay worked for 38 years for the Foxboro Company as an Instrument Maker. He retired in 1985. He was a life member and served as Commander at the V.F.W. Post 2626 in Foxboro and the Foxboro Legion Post 93. He was a member of the Foxboro Company 10 and 25 Year Clubs.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6 at 11AM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxboro. Chaplain Douglas Smith of the Foxboro V.F.W. Post 2626 will officiate. Burial will follow with U.S. Navy military honors at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
