Retired Machinist from Bird Machine. John Morgan Nevers Sr., age 64, died at is home in Medfield on Thursday March 2, 2006. John was son of the late Homer and Edith (Russell) Nevers.
John was a Foxboro native and was educated in Foxborough Public Schools. He lived for many years in Mansfield and also lived in Attleboro for several years. John was a machinist at Bird Machine of Walpole for over 30 years, retiring in 2003. He also was the manager and program director of the Collins House on Dunham St. in Attleboro for over 10 years. As a second career he enjoyed driving School Buses for the town of Medfield.
John was an avid Boston Red Sox and Pawtucket Red Sox Fan. He loved the Blues and for over 40 years he collected Blues music memorabilia. He was a devoted and loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Beloved husband of Mary Louise (Meade) Nevers. Loving father of John M. Nevers Jr. of Mansfield, Justine D. Nevers of Billerica and Joleen M. Nevers of Storrs, CT. Devoted grandfather of Haley, Peter and Stephen Nevers of Mansfield. Cousin of David Nevers of Georgia.
Funeral Information
