Paul J. Jones

March 11, 1929 - August 31, 2009

Paul Joseph Jones, age 80, died on August 31, 2009 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. He was the son of the late Angus and Elizabeth (Miles) Jones.

Paul was born in Dorchester on March 11, 1929. He grew up in Stoughton where he graduated from Stoughton High School. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He and his wife Rosalie were married on December 30, 1950 at St. James Church in North Stoughton.

Paul was a retired Foxborough Police officer who retired in 1982. He loved his home in Foxborough and spending time with his family. He enjoyed many day trips with his wife and daughter to Cape Cod and Newport. He also enjoyed reading and was an avid New England Patriots fan. He was a member of the Foxboro American Legion Post 93.

Beloved husband of Rosalie A. (Pollycutt) Jones. Loving father of Maureen A. Jones of Foxborough. Brother of the late Ralph Jones and Katherine Seder.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 3, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
