Dorothy Knisley
November 11, 1926 - February 15, 2008
Devoted Mother and Grandmother Dorothy (Galipeau) Knisley, age 81, died Friday, February 15 surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Preston) Galipeau.
Dorothy was born on November 11, 1926 in Fairhaven. She attended New Bedford High School. Dorothy was employed as a receptionist at the Norfolk and Dedham Insurance Company until retiring in 1992. Dorothy was a Foxboro resident for forty two years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, knitting and bowling. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Loving mother of Greg Knisley of Taunton, Joyce Willis of Pascoag, RI, Karen Tedeschi of N. Attleboro and Janice and her husband John Littlefield of Norton. Devoted grandmother of Nick and Kristin Tedeschi, Jeff Joergensen and David and Nicole Littlefield. Sister of Theodore Galipeau of New Bedford, Frank Galipeau of Fairhaven and the late Joseph Galipeau and Yvonne Bentley.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February 19 from 5 to 7 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro.
