Olga M. Donlan

Devoted Mother, Grandmother and Sister

Norwood-Olga M. Donlan, age 83, died on August 17, 2009 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Donlan, Jr.

Olga was born on July 2, 1926 in Westwood and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nicolina (Campanari) Mordini. She was a graduate of Westwood High School and married her husband Francis on June 29, 1947 in Westwood. She raised her family in Norwood and then moved to Yarmouthport for several years. She then moved to Franklin and has been a Norwood resident for the past three years.

Olga owned in operated a Nursery School in Yarmouthport. She was a former Brownie and Girl Scout leader in Norwood. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband and a good walk on the beach. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends.

Beloved mother of Richard F. Donlan and his wife Dorothea of Walpole and Patricia Ienello and her husband Christopher of Foxborough. Loving brother of Joseph Mordini of Franklin and the late Vincent and Robert Mordini. Devoted grandmother of Tammy, Dana, Scott, Jennifer, Melissa, Hayley and great grandmother of Emily.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 4-7 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church on Carpenter St. in Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxborough.
