Laurence H. Jondro

Retired Manager from the FoxboroCompany Print Shop. Laurence H. Jondro, age 86, of Foxboro died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was the son of the late Herbert and Julia A. (Martin) Jondro.
Born on April 24, 1919, in Brookfield, NH, Laurence was a graduate of Sunapee High School and attended culinary school in Boston. He was the owner of the former Cash Store in Foxboro Center. Mr. Jondro was a retired print shop manager from the Foxboro Company Print Shop. Prior to his death he was the oldest living past commander of the American Legion in Norfolk County as well as a long time member of the Foxboro American Legion. He participated in the Minstrel Shows for many years and was an usher at St. Mary’s Church for over 40 years. Mr. Jondro and his late wife, Alma, operated the Big Yard Sale on Main Street for several years. He also managed Parking Lot 11 for the stadium for 34 years.
Mr. Jondro was the loving husband of the late Alma Mary (Comeau) Jondro. Beloved father of Alan D. and his wife Sara of Foxboro and Dennis S. and his wife Lorraine Jondro of Foxboro. Devoted grandfather of Heather Harris, Holly, Eric, Paul and Christopher Jondro. Adoring great grandfather of Mea Bouzianis and Braden Jondro. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, February 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxboro.
