Erin E. O'Handley

Erin Elizabeth O’Handley, age 45, of Norton, died Saturday, February 21 at the Brigham and Women’s Medical Center in Boston. Erin was the daughter of the late John O’Connell and Marion (O’Handley) O’Connell.

Erin was born on February 3, 1964 in Las Vegas, NV. She was a graduate of Foxboro High School, Class of 1982 and earned a BA in Finance at Simmons College in Boston, Class of 1988. She and her husband Mark Mobilia were married on October 6, 1990 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Foxboro.

Erin was a former Foxboro and Franklin resident. She was a member of the Susan G. Komen Team Brian Breast Cancer Walk. Erin was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.

Beloved wife of Mark Mobilia. Devoted mother of Markcaya, Nick, Jameson and Miss Shawna Mobilia all of Norton. Loving sister of Barbara “Sissy” DeRosa of Norton and Stephen O’Connell of Mansfield. Aunt of Lesley DeRosa, Jared O’Connell and the late Jeremy DeRosa. Godmother and Aunt of Tracy Erin DeRosa and Gianni DeRosa.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 25 from 4 to 8 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 26 at 10 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 59 Cottage Street, Sharon. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro.
