Ruth C. Perkins

June 19, 1909 - December 15, 2006

Ruth Charlotte (Brunell) Perkins, age 97, died Friday, December 15 at her home in Foxboro surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Mae (Safford) Brunell and beloved wife of the late Harvey Perkins.

Ruth was born on June 19, 1909 in Burlington, VT. She was a 1931 graduate of Boston University and held a Masters degree from Bridgewater State College. Ruth was a teacher and librarian in the Foxboro Public Schools.

Ruth was the loving mother of Mark Perkins and his wife Normajene Lamb of Foxboro. Devoted grandmother of Scott Perkins and Cara Perkins. Sister of Teresa Davis and Mary Ouimet, both of Foxboro, Jean Guyon of Lebanon, ME, Larry Brunell of N. Attleboro and the late Mark, Douglas, and Robert Brunell.

Funeral Information

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to calling hours on Tuesday, December 19, from 3-6 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 20 at 9:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
