Donald A. Boucher

October 22, 1917 - August 24, 2009

Foxborough-Donald A. Boucher, age 91, died on Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Ellis Nursing Center in Norwood. He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn R. (Vincent) Boucher and son of the late Barthelemy and Eugenie (Perreault) Boucher.

Donald was born in Holyoke on October 22, 1917 and attended Holyoke Trade School. He was a retired machinist and last worked a custodian for the Holyoke Public Schools. He has been a resident of Foxborough for the past 20 years.

Donald was a communicant and usher at St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough and was a member of the Foxboro Knights of Columbus. He was also active with the Foxborough Council on Aging at the Foxborough Senior Center.

Donald enjoyed time with his family and repairing appliances and fixing small motors and radios. He also enjoyed golf and was an avid cribbage player. He was an avid Red Sox and N.E. Patriots fan and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Loving father of Karen and her husband Bertrand Rousseau of Norfolk. Devoted grandfather of Kevin and Christie Rousseau of ME and Brian Rousseau of Norfolk. Great grandfather of Jacob and Evelyn Rousseau.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 28, from 4-7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Foxborough. Interment will be private.
