Devoted Mother Grandmother and Friend Helen L. Cummings, age 90, died Saturday, March 17 at her home in Foxboro surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Broderick) Brown.
She was born on April 5, 1916 in Boston. She was educated in Boston Public Schools and married her late husband Maurice P. Cummings in Boston. She was most fond of spending time at home with her family.
Beloved wife of the late Maurice Cummings. Loving mother of Virginia Baker of Halifax, Helen O’Keefe of Hyde Park, Robert Cummings of Brockton, Judith Boyle of Brockton, Carol Bryant of Foxboro and Maureen Norton of Foxboro. Sister of Grace Mulcahy of Plymouth and the late Clarence, Joseph, Barney, Mildred, Virginia, Alma, Dolly and Mary. Also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Wednesday, March 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 10 am at the funeral home officiated by the Rev. Rebecca Brown of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Foxboro.
