Beloved Mother and Grandmother Attleboro-Susan Elizabeth Leonard, age 59, died at her home on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She is the daughter of Charles Leonard of Bridgewater and the late Helen (Capen) Leonard.
Susan was born in Norwood on November 20, 1949 and was a native of Sharon where she was a graduate of Sharon High School, Class of 1969. She attended nursing school at Brockton City Hospital and was a graduate of the Foxborough State Hospital Nursing School. She has been a resident of Attleboro for the past 2 years and was formerly of North Attleboro and Foxborough.
Susan was a licensed practical nurse and worked for many years for Madonna Manor in North Attleboro. Susan loved her profession and loved caring for the residents of Madonna Manor. She also loved ceramics, was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies with her family.
Beloved mother of Elizabeth “Buffie” Leonard of Attleboro. Loving grandmother of Ryan Leonard and Justin Harrison of Attleboro. Devoted Great Grandmother of Erica Leonard of Attleboro. Sister of Ronnie Capen and Charles, Eddie and Robbie Leonard.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 11, from 2-6 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough Center.
