Evelyn W. Prosser

Evelyn Wilbur (Perry) Prosser, age 82, died Friday, August 7 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. Evelyn was the daughter of the late John J. and Evelyn (Lovell) Perry. Evelyn was the wife of the late Jesse Walker, beloved wife of the late Max Prosser and former wife of the late Walter Poulin.
Evelyn was born on August 16, 1926 in Sharon, MA. She worked for fifty years at the Red Wing as a waitress and hostess. Evelyn was a proud member of the 40 & 8 Cabane 1280 Bristol County and served twice as Past Grand President and also as a chaplain. Evelyn also fellowshiped with the Way International Ministry. She was a member of the Norton American Legion Auxiliary. She volunteered at Southwood Hospital and the Foxboro Chemo Center.
Loving mother of Jeannette Kidder of Bellingham and her late husband Herbert Dana Kidder, Cheryl and her husband Thomas Peavey, Sr. of Foxboro, Mary and her husband Gary Nelson of Orlando, FL, Linda DiFiore of Norton, Shelia and her husband Joseph Robak of E. Bridgewater, Ted and his wife Claire Walker of Lincoln, RI, Karen and her husband Ken Berube of Norton, James Prosser of Norton and Kathy and her husband Luis Costa of S. Attleboro. Devoted grandmother of sixteen, great grandmother of twenty five and great-great grandmother of two. Beloved grandmother of the late Thomas Peavey, Jr. and Annette Kidder Cooper. Beloved sister of John and Evelyn Perry of Walpole, Charles and Charlotte Perry of Maine and Frederick and Sharon Dewhurst of Lakeville.
Friends and family are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 11 am at the United Church, Common Street in Walpole. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Sharon.
