Middleboro – Arlene (Bornstein) Bianchi, age 74 died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, March 11, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Shirley (Cohen) Bornstein. Arlene was born on February 22, 1936 in Boston and was educated in Boston Public Schools. She and her husband Edward were married in Dorchester on September 15, 1959. She has been a resident of Oak Point in Middleboro for the last ten years and was a former long time Foxborough resident. Arlene at one time worked for the Wrentham Developmental Center in Wrentham as a dietician and more recently was employed a cafeteria monitor at the John J. Ahern School in Foxborough. She enjoyed spending winters with her husband in Naples, FL and was a member of the pet club at Oak Point in Middleboro. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Wife of the late Edward Bianchi. Beloved mother of Scott and his wife Eileen Bianchi of Medfield and Curtis and his wife Amy Bianchi of Mansfield. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Shannon, Jacob and Abigail Bianchi. Sister of Carolyn Stark of Los Angeles, CA. Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 15 from 4 to 7 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 11:30 am at the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rock Hill Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
