George A. Shahabian

May 14, 1925 - October 25, 2007

George Archie Shahabian, age 82, died on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the son of the late Archie and Alma (Sakaian) Shahabian.

George was born and raised in Foxboro and was a 1943 graduate of Foxboro High School. After serving in the United States Army Air Corps in the Philippines during WWII, he came home to work in the tool division at the Foxboro Company until 1958. He left the Foxboro Company to venture out on his own into the real estate business. He built and maintained several apartment buildings in Foxboro and Mansfield and enjoyed his work immensely. His greatest pleasure was his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of Rose (Tutelian) Shahabian. Loving father of Mary Ann and her husband John Janigian of Auburn, New Hampshire and Stephen Shahabian of Foxboro. Devoted grandfather of Joelle, Jaclyn, and Julia Janigian. Brother of John Shahabian of Fortuna, CA.
